FAQ

Recording video with the device

Press the on/off button for about 3 seconds, till the yellow LED light appears, now the device is on. Press the record button for about 3 seconds, the yellow LED will flash 3 times and turn off, witch means the device is recording video now. Press the record button one more time, the yellow LED light will appear again and the device will stop recording video and save the file.

Taking photos with the device

Turn on the device, the yellow LED will appear (stand by mode). press the record button one time, the yellow LED will flash once to show that photo has been taken. The image will be saved automatically. The yellow LED will flash once every time it takes one photo.

Can the key chain record in low lighting conditions?

yes, the key chain doesn’t need a lot of light and it records very good quality videos at night time as well.

Recording a video manually:

When the power switch is ON, press the “start recording” button, Press the same button again in order to stop recording.

Sound activated recording:

When the power switch is ON, turn on the Voice Activation switch, the camera will start recording video if sound levels reach 65 decibels or higher.

When sound levels become lower the 65 decibels the camera will automatically enter standby mode and will only continue recording when sound levels go up again. After recording, the files will be saved automatically.

This camera may also be powered by an AC Adapter (in the wall) and still record simultaneously.

Viewing recorded data:

To view what you have recorded connect the camera into the computer using the USB cord provided and switch the power ON. Make sure the Sound trigger is OFF.

Using the Camera as a webcam:

To use your camera as a webcam first install the webcam software from the cd provided and then plug the camera in with the USB cord. Make sure both the ON button and the VOX button are both on.
